Winning and Special hands

The player discards a tile for someone to win has to pay double. If the player picks the winning tile from the wall, other players have to pay double. (Double the number of chips in the followings)

(3) Yat-Fan: 2 chips - (1 point)

a) "SHEUNG", "PUNG" or "KONG" in any combination of mixed suits together with a "PUNG" and/or "KONG" either Red Dragon, Green Dragon, White Dragon, right round Wind  or right Wind position.

b) Same as (1) above, except player picks the winning tile from the wall, add extra 0.5 point to become "Yat-Fan".

a) "SHEUNG", "PUNG" or "KONG" in any combination of mixed suits, pair of "NANG" together with two sets of "PUNG" and/or "KONG" - any two combinations of Red Dragon, Green Dragon, White Dragon, right round Wind or right Wind position, which contributes two points to the winning hand.

b) Same as (3) above, except player picks the winning tile from the wall, add extra one point to become "Leung-Fan".

c) Same as (2) above, except player picks the winning tile from the wall, add extra one point to become "Leung-Fan".

a) "SHEUNG", "PUNG" or "KONG" in any same suit together with a pair of "NANG" - any two identical tiles, either Red Dragon, Green Dragon, White Dragon, right round Wind or right Wind position.

b) Three sets of "PUNG" and/or "KONG" - such as of Red Dragon, Green Dragon, White Dragon, right round Wind or right Wind position, together with any suit of  "SHEUNG" or "PUNG" and a pair of "NANG" - any two identical tiles from another suit. (if three sets of three identical tiles are Red Dragon, Green Dragon and White Dragon, see special hands 10)

Same as (5) above, except the player picks the winning tile from the wall, add extra one point to become Say-Fan.

(7) Ng-Fan: 32 chips - (5 points)

a) Any same suit with "SHEUNG", "PUNG" or "KONG" together a pair of "NANG" and includes two sets of "PUNG" and/or "KONG" - such as Red Dragon, Green Dragon, White Dragon, right round Wind or right Wind position.

b) Any same suit with "SHEUNG", "PUNG" or "KONG" together a pair of "NANG" from the same suit.

The pre-agreed maximum winning points apply to the following Special hands.

i.e. If 5 points maximum:

For Special hands: 32 chips = 5 points

(8) Sub-Sam-Yew

One and nine from each suits, one tile from each three Dragons, one tile from each four Winds and together with a pair of "NANG" - any identical pair as mentioned in hand.

"PUNG" and/or "KONG" - one and nine from any suits together with a pair of "NANG" from either one or nine from any suits.

(11) Tai-Say-Hay

Four sets of all the Winds in "PUNG" and/or ""KONG" together with any pair of "NANG".
